EL VINO @ Tony Roma's, Pavilion

2 weeks ago, we celebrated Bao's belated 21st birthday at the happening Pavilion, Bukit Bintang. After much consideration, we decided to go to Tony Roma's for steak. My first time there, but I think the services there were a bit flat.. waiters were not attentive enough... =.=
(needs improvement ya..)
But after all, we had so much of fun!! (Of course, after all the hardwork and kiling assignments in college...)

Here comes our Lai Yee in blue. If you have good observation, you will notice that she is the one in the video clip! (check out my blog that's attached with a video clip..though she looks more elegant with the wine glass, but... the 'Thai Man' features are obvious still!)

The food is kinda ok..not much choices though..

This is our "Wine Glass Eiffel Tower" with our Chateau de Seguin Sauvignon Chardonnay. I took the risk of breaking all the wine glasses in order to make this tower...phhheeeewwwww.......

There are still many interesting restaurant in Pavilion... I think I will try Michealangelo, Carlos and Athena next time... huuuhooo...!! Anyone wanna join this food maniac?

Women and Parfum

Wondering since when I take perfume as a necessity. It’s like shampoo, face care, body lotion (and MASCARA of course) where I can’t live without! (I think the same goes to a lot of people :p)

Became a maniac in collecting perfume and miniature 2 years back, love those perfume bottle in nice and elegant design. Spraying perfume makes me feel more “sensual” and attractive. I love the smell of perfume from my body @@

Bright Crystal by Versace - One of the best perfume I have ever had. Great and long lasting smell and I love the bottle ^^ (Got the same miniature as well..wakakaka)

I think, woman and perfume have a close relationship…where with the companionship of each other, they are so “attempting”!! It’s like…

• A good 1987 / 1988 red wine with imported Wagyu steak in medium rare
• Rum and raisin (I always wonder why these two things are so well-blended to each other… craving for Baskin Robbins rum & raisin ice cream now…GOD!!)
• Freshly bake middle-eastern saj bread with aromatic chicken kabob
• Brownie with warm dark chocolate sauce (Mmmmm…..)
• Fitting pencil skirt with 4-inch black pointed stilettos
  

Eternity Moment by Calvin Klein - 100 ml which last me for more than 1 year (wow...). The bottle is kinda simple but Scarlette Johansson is soooooooooo gorgeous!

Glow by J.LO - Bottle in an elegant shape and the Bling Bling J.LO accessories on the bottle can be taken out and use as handphone strap (interesting huh?). Basically what caused me to buy the perfume is the funky J.LO charm keychain at the right (which i felt in love the moment i saw it). But this perfume smells good as well...kinda like baby talcum :)

New Woman by Versace - my second Versace perfume. Currently using this perfume (but sometimes CK or J.LO ;p) I love the colour and the Versace logo at the bottle. Very sensual and sexy smell...

There are a lot more to describe the woman and perfume… without woman, perfume has no where to showcase itself, while without perfume, woman seems missing something. I believe, perfume does play a role in making a woman more attractive, more confident and of course, more sexy…

When a Man Loves a Women (and hates what she does later...)

When a man loves a woman, he is willing to spend his whole day, doing nothing but waiting for her. He says “it’s a pleasure waiting for a beauty” when he finally sees her. However, man hates it when a woman makes it a habit and he keeps waiting like an idiot. He says “don’t you have a watch?!” when he finally sees her, even its only 5 minutes late.

When a man loves a woman, he is willing to go shopping and “splurge till he broke”. He says “you look gorgeous in every dress you have tried just now.”
However, man hates it when he has to go shopping EVERY weekend. He says “don’t you have the similar shoes / blouse / bag / dress? Why can’t you check your wardrobe before you go shopping?”

When a man loves a woman, he is willing to be like a chauffeur and drives her to wherever she wants. He says “It’s my responsibility protect you wherever you go..”
However, man hates it when he has to fetch her and her bunch of girly girly friends who have just finished watching “Sex and the City” movie together. He says “can’t we just have some time alone? I feel like an absurd being a chauffeur for you girls.”

When a man loves a woman, he is willing to eat whatever she chooses to eat. He says “I ain’t picky. Eating with you is the most enjoyable moment.”
However, man hates it when he was being forced to eat things that he HATEs the most but he knows when he refuses to eat, Third World War is likely to happen. He says “can’t we just have something normal for dinner tonight? I’m fed up with that kinda foods.”

When a man loves a woman, he is willing to buy her whatever she likes, and will try his very best to everything she desires. He says “I’m the luckiest man in the world when I get to see your smile”
However, man hates it when woman does not know when to stop requesting and won’t seem to be satisfied on what she has now. He says “you are LUCKY enough to have what you HAVE now!”

When man who initially loves a woman finally found that he starts to hate what she does, he says “OK, I think this is enough. We’re done!”

Girls, everything has a limit. Do not ever over rely on your man and think he is really WILLING to do anything because HE LOVES YOU! Give his some time, some spaces to be alone and gives yourself some DIGNITY!!

8 common yet INTERESTING facts :P

Just to share some of the facts that seems normal in everyday life…

1. The official language of Brazil - one of the most attractive countries in the South America, is PORTUGUESE. (which sounds similar to Spanish)

2. The richest man in the world, the one rank as the FIRST in the world’s richest man is Mr. Warren Buffett, not Bill Gates who is now busier with his charity works, rather than his Microsoft business.

3. The capitol of Australia is Canberra, NOT Sydney – even though Sydney is much famous with the Olympic 2000 and the Sydney Opera House.

4. (For non-local / foreigner) When mentioning about my nationality as a Malaysian or “I come from Malaysia”, it seriously doesn’t mean that I am Malay. In fact, I am a Malaysian Chinese who’s born and live in this harmony multiracial country and I am NOT from China. Being a Chinese here doesn’t mean coming from China. But of course, my ancestors or great grandfather did come from Chine centuries ago.

5. Citizens of Netherlands are being referred as Dutch. The word Dutch refers to their mother tongue as well. Meaning, “They are Dutch who speak Dutch.” (and Dutch Lady dairy product is NOT really Dutch!)

6. Sweden, Switzerland and Swaziland are three DIFFERENT countries. Sweden is part of Northern Europe (where Freddie Ljungberg – the gorgeous footballer comes from!!). Switzerland is located next to Germany, where watches like Swatch and Tag Heuer are originated. Swaziland, well, though sounds similar, is thousand miles far away from these 2 countries. Swaziland is part of South Africa and next to Mozambique.

7. England does not solely represent the whole United Kingdom. It is just part of it. The United Kingdom consists of England, Wales and Scotland (a country where we can get good Scotch whisky!!). Though adjacent to each other, people from these three countries speak in different accent.

8. The keyboard is not solely for typing. There are many shortcut keys that can make your life easier. For instance, pressing the “Shift” key for 5 times will make it into a “Sticky Key” where you can use the “Shift”, “CTRL”, “ALT” and “Window logo key” by pressing the key one time. Interesting huh??

Man. Tomato. Virginity.

I read a story on how men look at virginity. It’s been years and I hardly remember the source and the author. No matter how, the story changes my perception. Now, I am gonna re-tell this interesting story to everyone.

As one reads about the title “Man. Tomato. Virginity”, it doesn’t really sound appealing. Yes, men do have some sort of thoughts towards virginity, but what to do with tomato? Here, we are going to examine how men perceive virginity through the way they choose a tomato.

Ladies, if you ever have a chance to go to supermarket with a guy, be it your normal friend or boyfriend or partner, try asking him a question that sounds silly – “How would you choose a tomato?”

Typically, most of the people will say: “Stand in front of those juicy tomatoes, starring and examining them thoroughly. Look for the tomato with perfect round shape, flawless smooth skin in beautiful cherry red. Once spotted, pick it up and press it gently – to make sure the ripeness is just perfect to be eaten!”

Great! Follow-up questions – “If you have spoiled one particular tomato because of excessive strength in pressing while examining it, will you put it back and get another one? Will you keep pressing and examining until you found the perfect one?”

I guess you know the answer now! Most of the people, (I mean most, NOT ALL), will answer “Definitely! I pay for it and I want the best of’em!”

Well, this is just an article, don’t take it too serious. In fact, men have always preferred a virgin for a wife of girlfriend. Virgin signifies purity and loyal. This is understandable. Men, who are ego-driven, always hope that they are girls’ FIRST and LAST partner!

So, a little notes for guys – do not spoil other tomatoes in the market and expect what you bought home is a pure and flawless one. This is just unfair!

生死一线间

这是我第一次用中文写的部落格， 这第一次， 却是记载 着伤心的事。。。

刚刚从亲人的丧礼回来，心里有很大的感触。除了失去一位长辈的伤痛，我所感受到的，是与死亡的距离。 原来，生与死，是那么的靠近，却又阴阳相隔。

亲人的家属采用了基督教仪式来举行丧礼。仪式上，牧师用她那不太准确的中文来祈祷以及安慰家属。一遍又一遍的重复去世的亲人只不过是睡了，在主怀里安息。有朝一日，他必像复活，就像神当初那样。

这番话，对于我来说，影响力不大。以后的事，我不晓得，也不想要去多想。我不知道人死后又没有轮回，有没有复活，我只知道，这一辈子，我再也没有机会再见到去世的亲人。。。

一直以为自己会很坚强，能忍着不哭。。。第一次瞻仰了躺在棺木里的亲人，
眼泪在打滚，但忍住了。第一次，第一次真真正正的面对死亡。
咫尺之间，阴阳相隔，千呼万唤也没有用。。。

第二天，牧师进行了另一轮的仪式后，便要封棺了。
这一次，眼泪徐徐滑落，四周的家属激动的哭了。
是的，棺木一封，就代表着第一次的永别。
接着， 依照华人仪式，
晚辈得随着灵车，走一段的路，代表着，送往生者最后一程。


经过了两个小时的车程和另一轮的仪式，真真正正的永别即将来临。家属按了电挚，棺木缓缓的滑向焚化炉。这时听见的，
除了棺木滚动的声音， 还有家属激动的哭声。
焚化炉的门关上，一切一切，也都告一段落。。。

许多人，每天都在鬼门关徘徊。学会看透，
你会发现，生与死这两个极端，
原来，只是一线之差。好好珍惜眼前人。。。
